Graph Papers is a static website. The generator, drawing tool and ruler run entirely in your browser. There is no account system and no database, and nothing you create is uploaded to us.
What is stored on your device
To be useful between visits, the site saves a few items in your browser’s localStorage:
gp:last: your most recent generator settings.gp:favoritesandgp:recent: presets you saved and recent exports.gp:drawandgp:draw-view: your drawing on the virtual graph paper and the zoom/position.gp:pxPerMm: the on-screen ruler calibration.gp:theme: whether you chose light or dark mode.
This data never leaves your device unless you choose to share it. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.
Share links
When you copy a share link, your settings or drawing are compressed into the part of the URL after #. Browsers do not send that part to the server, so we never receive it. Anyone you give the link to can see its contents.
