    About this paper

    Triangle graph paper

Triangle grid paper is built from three sets of parallel lines at 0°, 60° and 120°. They divide the page into equilateral triangles that point alternately up and down, in flat horizontal rows.

It is the same lattice as isometric paper turned a quarter turn: isometric paper has vertical lines, this one has horizontal lines. The spacing sets the side of each triangle, and a bold line every few triangles helps with counting.

    Frequently asked questions

Is triangle graph paper the same as isometric paper?

It has the same equilateral triangles, rotated by 90°. Use isometric paper for 3D drawing (it has vertical lines) and triangle paper when you want horizontal rows.

How do I make sure the grid prints at the right size?

In the print dialog choose “Actual size”, “100%” or “No scaling”, and turn off “Fit to page” or “Shrink to fit”. To confirm, print our free calibration test sheet and measure the 10 cm line with a ruler.

Is it free for commercial use?

Yes. There is no account, no watermark and no download limit. You can use the paper for classes, worksheets, products and client work.
