    About this paper

    Dot grid paper

Dot grid (dotted) paper marks only the intersections of a square grid. You still get guides for straight lines, boxes and lettering, but the page looks cleaner and your writing stands out.

5 mm is the classic bullet-journal spacing. Make dots larger or darker if they print too faintly on your printer.

    Frequently asked questions

What dot spacing do bullet journals use?

Most use 5 mm. Some prefer 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) for larger handwriting.

My dots are too faint. What can I do?

Increase the dot size to about 2 pt or choose a darker color, then print again.

How do I make sure the grid prints at the right size?

In the print dialog choose “Actual size”, “100%” or “No scaling”, and turn off “Fit to page” or “Shrink to fit”. To confirm, print our free calibration test sheet and measure the 10 cm line with a ruler.

Is it free for commercial use?

Yes. There is no account, no watermark and no download limit. You can use the paper for classes, worksheets, products and client work.
