    About this paper

    Number line paper

Each row is a number line with a tick at every integer and longer ticks at multiples of 5. The default range runs from −10 to 10 with arrows at both ends, which covers adding and subtracting integers.

Set the axis range to change the end value (up to 50), or choose “First only” for lines that start at 0, such as 0 to 20 for early addition. The row spacing controls how many lines fit on the page.

    Frequently asked questions

How many number lines fit on a page?

With 20 mm rows you get 12 lines on Letter paper. Increase the spacing for fewer lines with more room to write.

How do I make sure the grid prints at the right size?

In the print dialog choose “Actual size”, “100%” or “No scaling”, and turn off “Fit to page” or “Shrink to fit”. To confirm, print our free calibration test sheet and measure the 10 cm line with a ruler.

Is it free for commercial use?

Yes. There is no account, no watermark and no download limit. You can use the paper for classes, worksheets, products and client work.
