    About this paper

    Perspective grid paper

This template opens in two-point perspective: a bold horizon line with a vanishing point at each side, rays fanning out from both, and vertical guides. Draw the near corner of a building as a vertical line, then follow the rays back to each vanishing point.

Switch to one point for interiors and road views, with a single vanishing point in the middle of the horizon, or to three points for tall buildings seen from above, with a third vanishing point at the bottom center. The spacing controls how dense the rays are.

    Frequently asked questions

    Which perspective should I use?

One-point for scenes viewed straight on, like a hallway. Two-point for objects seen from a corner. Three-point for looking down on tall buildings; turn the sheet upside down for a worm’s-eye view.

How do I make sure the grid prints at the right size?

In the print dialog choose “Actual size”, “100%” or “No scaling”, and turn off “Fit to page” or “Shrink to fit”. To confirm, print our free calibration test sheet and measure the 10 cm line with a ruler.

Is it free for commercial use?

Yes. There is no account, no watermark and no download limit. You can use the paper for classes, worksheets, products and client work.
