    About this paper

    Semi-log graph paper

Semi-logarithmic paper uses a linear scale on one axis and a log scale on the other. Exponential data, such as population growth, radioactive decay or compound interest, becomes a straight line, which makes rates easy to read.

    Frequently asked questions

    Which axis is logarithmic?

The vertical (y) axis. Rotate the sheet to landscape if you need the log scale horizontally.

How do I make sure the grid prints at the right size?

In the print dialog choose “Actual size”, “100%” or “No scaling”, and turn off “Fit to page” or “Shrink to fit”. To confirm, print our free calibration test sheet and measure the 10 cm line with a ruler.

Is it free for commercial use?

Yes. There is no account, no watermark and no download limit. You can use the paper for classes, worksheets, products and client work.
